March 17, 2025 - Homeschool Program Gr 7-9 (Ages 12-14) Sudbury's Green Story - Celebrate Sudbury's regreening story! In this program, students dive into our city’s story, including its unique geology and how we evolved into a cleaner and greener mining community. Learn about the meteor impact, the eventual mining influence on the landscape, and the regreening efforts to restore our natural environment. Venture out on Dynamic Earth's property to take in unique sights and geological features (weather permitting).

Students will learn about different forces and get to design and build their own structure which will be put to the test against different natural forces such as earthquakes and strong winds.

May 26, 2025 - Homeschool Program Gr 7-9 (Ages 12-14) Mine Systems - Hundreds of different systems work together in mines to output various mineral resources. Ore collection, transportation, and seperating ore from waste rock will set the stage for students to learn about the five main features of a system and their efficiencies.

Through live demonstrations and hands-on activities, students will learn about how different sources of energy such as solar, wind, natural gas, and thermal energy are harnessed and used in our day-to-day lives.
