A NEW CHAPTER AFTER DARK!

For more than a decade, Nightlife on the Rocks has been a favourite adult event at Science North, bringing people together to explore, socialize and re-live their Science North days all grown up.

After more than 10 years of Nightlife, we thought it was time for something new.

We listened to our audience, and you told us you’re looking for more: more unique programming, more opportunities to connect, and a higher-quality adult event that feels fresh, exciting and worth coming back to.

So, we’ve evolved...

🌙 🌙 🌙

Introducing Curiosity After Dark, a new 19+ adult event series at Science North designed to take your night out to the next level.

Expect a more elevated evening with live entertainment, unexpected science, great atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities to explore, discover and connect.

Each Curiosity After Dark event begins in the Vale Cavern with a live show featuring our host, Bluecoats and special guest entertainers. Through performances, demonstrations and conversation, we’ll pull back the curtain and explore the science behind a variety of themed topics.

After the show, keep the night going with bar service and access to the science centre for even more fun.

Curiosity After Dark is designed for entertainment, interaction, and a little after-hours fun. Settle in, grab a drink, play along with the show and discover what your own brain is capable of.

Feeling curious? Welcome to the club.

In person at SCIENCE NORTH

Live from Science North...it's Curiosity After Dark.

Illusions are just smoke and mirrors, right? What if the real trick is happening inside your brain?

On Saturday, November 14, take your seat for an evening show where science, illusion and entertainment collide. Featuring magician, mentalist and trickster Ryan McFarling, The Illusionist will bend your mind and expectations, challenge your perception and have you questioning what you thought you saw.

Step into a show where the impossible takes centre stage. Alongside our host and Bluecoats, we’ll pull apart the moments that make you question what you just saw and uncover the science hiding behind them. Because what you see doesn’t always tell the whole story. But we do...

This experience will give you a show that will take your breath away and then take you behind the curtain. We'll maybe even teach you a new party trick or two.

Curiosity After Dark is designed for interaction, connection and a little after-hours fun. Settle in, grab a drink, play along with the show and discover what your own brain is capable of.
