Aboriginal Welcome
N’Swakamok Native Friendship Centre Dance Troupe

The dancers and singers of the N'Swakamok dance troupe perform to enhance the cultural knowledge base of individuals whom seek a better understanding of First Nations.  The songs and dances are of ancient times and have been passed on from generation to generation for thousands of years.  What was once almost lost has been flourished by First Nation Youth who have developed a thirst for culture and spiritual practices of our ancestors.  The name N'Swakamok translated in the English language means "where the 3 roads meet" which is known traditionally for the Sudbury area. It is our hope that individuals who have observed the presentation come away with a better understanding of the First Nation People and the culture.
