After-School Science Kids (ASK) Program

Science North's After-school Science Kids (ASK) program offers hands-on, fun educational science activities with healthy snacks, a homework club, science-based activities, science centre time, outdoor discovery, special science guests, and much more!

Currently, we have spaces available for children ages 4 to 12. Prices are $13.00 per student per day for members and $14.00 per student per day for future members. ASK begins in September 2017 and runs until June 2018 (entire school year).

Part-time spots require a minimum 3 days a week commitment and will be available in select programs starting in September 2017. Prices are $13 per student per day for members and $14 per student per day for future members. Spots are limited so reserve your spot today!

This is a unique program that allows us to explore the world of science nightly after-school through the science center, hands on activities and science guests.

Some of our special guests have included Dr.Roberta Bondar, Canada’s first female astronaut ; Dr. Philip J. Currie from the University of Alberta, who has discovered and named dinosaurs; Marc Garneau, Canadian astronaut; and Dr. James Delgado, expert on the Titanic.
